This is just a friendly warning as we head into Fall that you also need to do your research when it comes to new beverages! As you probably know, it’s already #PSL season at Starbucks. What you may not know is that there is a new beverage this Fall: an apple crisp macchiato. There has been some excitement in the dairy-free world because this one can be made dairy-free by substituting almond or oat milk. BUT THE SPICED APPLE DRIZZLE CONTAINS WHEAT. So if you’re also avoiding gluten, steer clear of the drizzle at least. (I personally haven’t tried it. It’s still summer in my world.)
